Rotary Club of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, hosted the annual Bell Celebrity Skate
This incredible fundraiser happened on November 7 2023 from 6 to 9 pm at GFL Memorial Gardens. Young Hounds fans were ecstatic.
Always a popular event, the Rotary Club's Bell Celebrity Skate offers a chance for young players to share the ice with their favourite Soo Greyhounds. The kids went out in teams to collect donations and raised $120,000 raised by Sault Rotary Club to date !!!!
In return the team got to keep 50% and skate with the Soo Greyhounds. Remaining funds went to Rotary.

The three-hour event supports Rotary Youth Programs such as THRIVE Child Development Centre, Easter Seals Ontario, Student Youth Exchange and the Youth District Science Fair. Along with Bell, sponsors include Village Media (which operates SooToday), ASAPP Financial Technology, Canadian Tire, DIG, GFL Environmental, McDougall Energy, Northcrest Lanes, Savoy’s Jewellers and Superior Emergency Services.
