Montague -Whitehall
We had a great time visiting the Montague-Whitehall club on August 22. The club is active in their community supporting youth in several ways. They have given (6) $1,000 scholarships to Montague and Whitehall graduates this past year. The club sponsored students to the Life Leadership conference and they also sponsor the White Lake Interact Club.
President Steve Krupp said that in the community the club participated in the annual highway cleanup. They donated funds and labor to build a kiosk for Duck Lake Trails. They donated funds for the Splash Pad at Goodrich Park and for the fire pit at the Whitehall sledding hill.
Baldwin
President David Glancy Told us that their projects and activities have included: a backpack program tree planting at the trail head park; bike lights for kids; Strive program; assistance to food pantry & hope chest; and habitat for humanity. The club’s fundraising activities include a golf outing and the SLAKR 1/2k fun run.

Ludington
The club has had an historical focus on youth with the STRIVE program and high school scholarships. They expanded STRIVE to include a 10th grade program. The club also sponsors an Interact club. The club applied for and received a District Matching Grant in 2022 to support the Ludington High School Robotics Team.
President Julie Sarto told us that they had record fundraising in the last year.
The Ludington club has always been in good standing in the town, but Rotary Park was a game changer for us in terms of recognition and goodwill.
